Al-Amal College of Medical Sciences holds a training seminar on PCR technology for first-year students of the Dentistry Department

Under the supervision of the Continuing Education Unit, Al-Amal College of Specialized Medical Sciences organized a scientific training seminar titled:
"Fundamentals and Applications of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Technology,"
targeted at first-year students of the Dentistry Department. The seminar is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the practical skills of students from the early years of their academic journey.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Faten Abdul-Kadhim, who introduced the technology and emphasized its significance in detecting viral and genetic diseases. She also reviewed the latest applications of PCR used in modern medical laboratories.

Professor Dr. Mufid Jaleel Awad, Dean of the College, affirmed that hosting such seminars aligns with the College’s policy of providing a comprehensive educational environment that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application. He highlighted the importance of preparing students to acquire the skills demanded by the medical job market.

The seminar witnessed active participation from the students, who showed great interest in the scientific and practical content presented.
