A Ministerial Committee from the Ministry of Higher Education Visits Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences to Audit the Academic Specializations of Faculty Members
A ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Private University Education / Department of Planning and Information visited Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences in Karbala. The visit was part of its field tours aimed at auditing the academic backgrounds of faculty members employed in private universities and colleges, ensuring compliance with approved ministerial directives and regulations.
The committee comprised Professor Haider Hassan Abdulhussein (Chairman), Eng. Dr. Talib Ahmed Hamid (Member and Rapporteur), and Eng. Dr. Maha Abbas Hussein (Member). During the visit, the committee reviewed the academic files of faculty members across the college's various departments. They verified the fulfillment of ministerial requirements concerning degrees, academic titles, and university orders, as well as administrative documents related to appointments and clearances (no-objection letters).
The committee was received by the Dean of Al-Amal College, Professor Mufid Jalil Awad; the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafie Abdul Ridha; and several Heads of Departments. Dr. Rafie provided a comprehensive overview of the administrative and organizational mechanisms implemented for documenting faculty records. He highlighted the college's commitment to applying ministerial standards with high precision and providing all necessary support for the committee's work to ensure the audit process was conducted smoothly and transparently.
The ministerial committee praised the high level of administrative organization and the accuracy in academic documentation they observed. They noted that Al-Amal College is regarded as a distinguished educational institution dedicated to applying quality and academic accreditation standards, and one that seeks to develop its faculty in accordance with the requirements of modern medical education.
For his part, the Dean of Al-Amal College, Professor Mufid Jalil Awad, valued the committee's visit, stressing that it serves as an additional incentive to continue the rigorous academic approach the college adopts in supporting the educational and research process, thereby serving the advancement of education in Iraq.
