A Distinguished Collaboration Between Al-Amal College and IFMSA to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness During Pink October

Under the patronage of the Deanship of Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, represented by its Dean, Professor Mufid Jalil Awad, and as part of its ongoing commitment to disseminating health culture within the academic community, the college organized a distinguished awareness event. This event was held in cooperation with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations in Iraq (IFMSA) as part of the Pink October activities for breast cancer awareness.

The event embodied Al-Amal College's dedication to supporting health and humanitarian initiatives that highlight the importance of early detection and prevention, reflecting its status as a leading academic institution in the medical sciences.

The activities included establishing an awareness booth on campus, where IFMSA students, under the direct supervision of the college, distributed educational brochures and scientific guidance on self-examination methods and the primary warning signs of breast cancer. Symbolic gifts were also distributed, which helped foster a spirit of participation among students.

The event witnessed significant engagement from students, faculty, and administrative staff, who praised the college's active role in hosting and sponsoring such activities. They noted that these events blend scientific and humanitarian aspects and affirm Al-Amal College's message that "knowledge is a message of life, health, and hope."

Through these initiatives, Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences continues its support for community awareness projects and its commitment to strengthening students' sense of social responsibility. This aligns with its vision of preparing medical professionals who simultaneously embody awareness, knowledge, and humanity.
