Al-Amal College Organizes an Awareness Event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Under the patronage of the Deanship of Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, represented by its Dean, Professor Mufid Jalil Awad, the Continuing Education Division, in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacy, held an awareness event coinciding with the month of October. The event was held under the slogan:

"The Pink Orchid... Your Participation and Health Matter to Us"

The event took place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in the Al-Amal College hall, drawing wide participation from faculty members and students. The proceedings were characterized by an educational atmosphere of keen interest and constructive discussion regarding the importance of early detection of breast cancer and methods of prevention.

The event included a series of scientific and educational lectures presented by Dr. Ebtehaal Naseer Salman, Dr. Alaa Kadhim Musa, Dr. Farah Jabbar, and Dr. Marwa Al-Masoudi. During their presentations, they reviewed the latest medical information and global statistics, emphasizing the importance of enhancing health consciousness among women and encouraging regular screenings.

This initiative is part of the periodic activities organized by Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, stemming from its societal responsibility to support health awareness campaigns and promote a culture of prevention among students and the community.
