First-Year Dentistry Team Crowned Champions of Al-Amal College Futsal Tournament

In a spirited and energetic atmosphere at Al-Amal College for Specialized Medical Sciences, the first-year Dentistry team was crowned champion of the college’s futsal tournament after a thrilling final match against the second-year (Group B) Medical Laboratory Techniques team. The match featured Iraqi artists Alaa Al-Ibrahimi, coaching the Lab Techniques team, and Aws Fadel, who led the Dentistry team.

The game took place in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd, including Professor Dr. Mofeed Jaleel Awad, Dean of the College, and MP Diaa Al-Hindi. Both teams delivered an exciting performance filled with intensity and suspense until the final moments.

Coach Aws Fadel demonstrated impressive tactical skills, devising strategies that led his team to victory. His counterpart, Alaa Al-Ibrahimi, adopted a high-pressing style inspired by Spanish coach Hansi Flick. Despite the fierce competition, the first-year Dentistry team managed to secure a well-deserved win and claim the title.

Professor Dr. Mofeed Jaleel Awad praised the exceptional level of play from both sides, describing the final as one of the most entertaining football matches he has witnessed. He also commended the event’s organization and the sportsmanship displayed by the players, emphasizing that the tournament reflects the college’s commitment to supporting athletic activities and promoting team spirit and healthy competition among students.
